Two Victims found Stabbed To Death In Oregon Alley, Suspect Caught Holding Bloody Knife: Report
Two people were stabbed to death and police found the suspected killer at the scene holding a bloody knife, according to a report.
Around 9:15 p.m. on April 12, police in Springfield, Oregon, responded to a dispute on 28th Street. Witnesses said a man with a knife stabbed another person.
When officers arrived, they found Robin Roberts, 42, in the parking area holding a knife, according to Springfield police. Authorities got Roberts to drop the knife and detained him.
Officers then found two other men — Richard Brumbach and Joshuah Vining — unconscious and covered in blood, according to police. Both men appeared to have been stabbed several times.
Medics arrived and tried to provide care, but both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators have not released a motive for the alleged double murder.
Police charged Roberts with two counts of first-degree murder and he was booked into jail.
