An argument turned deadly and now two people face charges, police said.
Last week, police in Palm Springs, California, announced the arrest of Antonio Marins and Anastacio Machuca in connection to the case.
Around 2:15 a.m. on Oct. 30, police in Palm Springs responded to a shooting that later was ruled a homicide.
Police determined that three people got into an argument with the two suspects. The argument soon became a fight, and Machuca took out a gun and shot at the victims. The victims fled the area and then Marins started to shoot at them, police said.
The two suspects then left the area. Hours after the shooting, police found Marins and he was arrested during a traffic stop. Machuca later surrendered to police.
One of the victims in the shooting died from his wounds. The name of the victim has not been released.
Marins was charged with attempted murder. Machuca was charged with murder and attempted murder.
