Police say a Colorado woman was arrested after she allegedly cut off her boyfriend’s penis and stabbed him during a dispute about whether he was the father of her child.
Around 8:50 p.m. on May 14, officers were dispatched to a location in Grand Junction regarding an unresponsive male with what appeared to be a knife wound, according to the Grand Junction Police Department.
The man was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators identified 32-year-old Shenting Guo as a suspect in the case, and she was arrested and charged with second-degree murder while in the heat of passion, and domestic violence, according to law enforcement officials.
According to an arrest affidavit obtained by the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel, Guo told police the victim was her boyfriend and she believed she was pregnant.
The couple got into an argument about the paternity and she allegedly ended up stabbing him in the leg, the affidavit alleges.
Guo allegedly told police “she was not trying to kill him but admitted to stabbing him because she was ‘so angry,'" the affidavit states.
Guo then allegedly cut off the man's penis, the affidavit continues, alleging she then went to the store and purchased rubbing alcohol, beer and medicine.
