Pawn shop employee who allegedly shot and killed thief arrested for murder: cops

Police arrested a pawn shop employee and charged him with murder after allegedly chasing and shooting a suspected thief.
Dorian Medina, 22, was shot and killed this week outside of Lone Star Pawnshop on West Jefferson Street in Grand Prairie, Texas, FOX 4 reported.
Grand Prairie police say the shooter was Price Mackey, an employee at the pawn shop, according to FOX 4.
Detectives say Medina had just committed a misdemeanor theft at the shop and was driving away when Mackey pulled out a handgun and fired towards Medina’s car, FOX 4 reported.
Police have not said whether or not Medina had a weapon or whether he made threats directed at Mackey, according to FOX 4.
Mackey was arrested and charged with murder, FOX 4 reported.
He is being held at the Grand Prairie Detention Center, and bond was set at $100,000, according to FOX 4.
