Amazon delivery driver shot victim after fender-bender, Pennsylvania cops say
An Amazon driver opened fire on a person after a fender-bender and now faces criminal charges, according to police.
On Feb. 27, police in Clifton Heights Borough, Pennsylvania, responded to an intersection for a gunshot victim. When officers arrived, they found a 58-year-old man on the sidewalk. The victim was bleeding from a gunshot wound to the stomach.
The victim told police he was shot by an Amazon delivery driver, according to police. The driver and the victim were in a minor car crash.
The victim was taken to the hospital, where he was admitted in critical condition, police said.
Investigators identified the Amazon driver as Anthony Jones.
This week, Clifton Heights Borough police announced that U.S. Marshals took Jones into custody at a relative’s home. He was charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and other charges.
