Man Turns Himself In To Police After Dealing Drugs That Led To A Death, Authorities Say
A drug dealer is accused of providing narcotics that caused a person’s death and now he faces criminal charges.
Around 4:15 p.m. on April 19, Javonne King used a cellphone to communicate a drug sale to another person, police in Manheim Township, Pennsylvania, said.
King sold the victims a heroin and fentanyl mixture, according to Manheim police.

The other person took the drugs and died as the result of an overdose, police said. The victim’s name has not been released.
Fentanyl is an opioid that can be mixed with other drugs to enhance the effects. But a small amount can be deadly.
Police identified King as a suspect, and last week he turned himself in to police. He was charged with drug delivery resulting in death and criminal use of a communication device.
