Woman Attacked Elderly Victim Without Provocation, Kicking Her In The Face: Police

An elderly woman in Pennsylvania was attacked without provocation and kicked in the face, police said. Now, a suspect is behind bars on assault charges.
Recently, the Pocono Township Police Department in Pennsylvania announced the arrest of Shannon Wallace. She was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, harassment and disorderly conduct.
Around 8:15 a.m. on Nov. 11, police responded to a street for a reported fight.
Officers were told that a woman was kicking another person in the face while she was on the ground.
When police arrived, they spoke to an elderly woman who had “severe” injuries to her face, authorities stated. Witnesses and the unnamed victim named Wallace as the suspect.
The victim said she was walking home when Wallace randomly attacked without provocation, according to police.
Officers found Wallace at her home, and she was arrested.
