Witnesses thought a man was having tire difficulty along the road but quickly learned he was unresponsive on the ground. Now, the man police say is responsible for his death is behind bars.
Last week, police in Slippery Rock Township, Pennsylvania, announced the arrest of Johnny Henry, 31, according to WKBN.
On Nov. 3, a witness found 40-year-old Joseph Detello along Young Road, according to the report.
The witness thought Detello was having an issue with a flat tire but later determined he was unresponsive on the ground. The witness called 911 and tried to give CPR, according to WKBN. Other witnesses tried to help, but the victim died.
A coroner ruled Detello died of asphyxiation.
Police identified Henry as a suspect but did not say how they tied him to the case. They also didn’t release a possible motive.
Henry was arrested last week in Ohio.
