A dance instructor placed a hidden camera inside a studio’s bathroom and now faces criminal charges, police said.
Last week, the Norristown Police Department in Pennsylvania announced the arrest of Francis Laurenzi in connection to the case. Authorities said he operated an unlicensed dance studio in a basement.
On Aug. 16, a woman told police she went to a private dance lesson.

She said the instructors, later identified as Laurenzi, provided her with clothing and asked her to try it on, according to police. The victim went to the bathroom and saw a cellphone charging block.
She previously saw a social media post warning blocks might be cameras, police said. She confirmed the block was a camera and removed the data card.
Police searched the studio and found multiple electronic storage devices. Police are still trying to determine if there are additional victims.
