A shooting on New Year’s Eve left three people dead, including a 12-year-old, and months later, police say they arrested the suspect.
On Dec. 31, police were called to a Pittsburgh home for a report of shots fired, . When officers arrived, they found a woman shot in the head and two other victims.
The victims were identified as Nandi Fitzgerald, Tatiana Hill, both 28 years old. A child, Denzel Nowlin, 12, was also among the dead, according to Pittsburgh police.
Officials have not released a possible motive for the shooting.
Shortly after the incident, police announced Ronald Steave, 29, was charged with three counts of criminal homicide in connection to the shooting.
On March 24, Pittsburgh police said they arrested Steave in McKeesport, Pennsylvania.
It was not immediately clear if Steave knew the victims before the shooting.
