Former Pittsburgh Steelers football player accused of fatally stabbing man to death in bathroom, police say
A former NFL football player was arrested in Ohio in connection to a fatal stabbing last month, authorities said.
On Feb. 23, Eric Wilkerson, 55, allegedly got into an argument with 46-year-old Brian Weems III at a home in Cleveland, WJW reported.
Wilkerson, a running back with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1989 and a star leading rusher at Kent State before that, is accused of following the victim into a bathroom and then stabbing him multiple times, police said.
