FAMILY PROPERTY DISPUTE IN FLORIDA ENDS WITH 69-YEAR-OLD MAN ARRESTED FOR MURDER

An on-going property dispute between relatives in Florida ended with a 69-year-old man killing a 30-year-old man, police say.
Orange County police responded to a call regarding a shooting around 4:23 p.m. on Taylor Creek Road on March 12, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
Police believe that Ralph Christie Jr. shot Billy Irvin Nobles during a family argument over property.
When police arrived on the scene, they found Irvin had been shot and was in critical condition. Everyone involved with the incident remained on the scene when the police arrived and cooperated with deputies, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
First responders transported Irvin to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Click Orlando reported that investigators did not provide any details on what led to the property dispute between Christie and Irvin involved.
After Irvin’s death, police went and arrested Christie and charged him with first-degree murder with a firearm. He is currently being held in Orange County jail.
First-degree murder in Florida is punishable by up to life in prison without parole.
