Ready to Wage WWIII? Putin Supporters Vow to ‘Take Back’ Alaska and ‘Save North America’
Sept. 27 2023, Published 11:37 a.m. ET
In an attempt to “save North America from fascism,” Vladimir Putin’s “squad” claimed they need to “take back Alaska.”
In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), a group of people in Russia shared the plan.
The post was shared by Anton Gerashchenko, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, and he said, “Putin’s ‘squad’ has a whole plan for ‘saving North America from fascism.’”
One woman in the video declares, “No choice left. I think it’s time to get Alaska back to Russia.”
“Our ships should patrol every coast of America," a man says, adding, "Then I will sleep well. And not just me.”
A second woman tells the camera: “In order to effectively fight fascism, we must establish military relations with Mexico to prevent the fascism from spreading further. We must form a military alliance with Mexico."
Another comments, "Until there is a change in Government in Canada, we must block that country's access to the Arctic Ocean."
Another member of Putin’s so-called “squad” opines, "As in America, the elections are dishonest, so they will not be able to resist such a fascist force that is spreading all over the world. And we would like to stop it all."

The video concludes with one of the women vowing, “We will save North America from fascism.”
The recorded comments come after Dmitri Medvedev, Russia’s former president and one of Putin’s strongest allies, issued a threat to NATO following the delivery of U.S. Abrams tanks to Ukraine, Express reported.

Medvedev warned, “It seems that Russia is being left with less and less choice other than a direct conflict with NATO on the ground.”
He also referenced the news that the United States will deliver ATACMS — a missile capable of hitting targets nearly 200 miles away — to Ukraine, Express reported.
Medvedev appeared to also speak about nuclear weapons, stating, “We are ready, although the result will be achieved at [a] much greater cost to humanity than in 1945.”
