A South Carolina man shifted his car into reverse and backed into a woman at a hospital emergency room on purpose, police say.
Derrick Richardson, 26, was charged with first-degree attempted murder and second-degree domestic violence Monday for an incident in Charleston last June.
Authorities say Richardson followed two people to the hospital. Then he reportedly exchanged words with one of them, a female, outside an emergency room.
