A man in Rhode Island is accused of killing a 65-year-old woman with a rock and now faces a murder charge, according to reports.
Last week, the Rhode Island State Police said they arrested Ramsundar Ramkalawan, 60, in connection to the case.
State Police responded to a home around 10 a.m. on July 18 for an unresponsive woman, according to officials. There, police found the victim and determined her death was suspicious. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim was identified as Donna MacDonald, 65, according to authorities.
WLNE reported that prosecutors said there was an argument between Ramkalawan and the victim. He then used a rock to hit her multiple times in the head, leading to her death.
Police have not said what led to the argument.
Ramkalawan was charged with murder and booked in to jail.
