Man in Santa sweater fired multiple shots at victims in front of Nashville hotel, cops say

A 24-year-old man, wearing a Santa Sweater, was arrested after multiple shots were fired toward a downtown Nashville earlier in the week
According to the warrant obtained by WJHL, the incident started as a fight on Dec. 19 at the Margaritaville Hotel between Christopher Thomas and one of the victims.
Police say the victim and two other people then left the Margaritaville Hotel and were en route to the Hyatt Place Hotel in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, when Thomas was seen in the passenger seat of his friend’s Chevrolet Silverado truck, WJHL reported.
An affidavit stated Thomas then fired two shots in their direction, one of which shattered the front glass window at the Hyatt Place Hotel, according to WJHL.
At the same time, a woman exited her Uber and entered the building in the lobby as rounds were fired in her vicinity, WJHL reported.
Officers received a clothing description of Thomas, which was a Santa sweater, blue jeans and a white jacket, according to WJHL.
Police later located the Silverado where Thomas was sitting in the passenger seat and found the firearm and two empty shell casings, WJHL reported.
Thomas is facing multiple charges, including reckless endangerment and aggravated assault, according to WJHL.
Tyler Wine was also arrested with Thomas. He is charged with driving under the influence, implied consent and possession of a handgun under the influence, WJHL reported.
