Photographer Taking School Pictures Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Schoolgirls, Police Say
A photographer taking school pictures in Ontario, Canada, was arrested after he allegedly sexually assaulted two schoolgirls, authorities said.
Scott Kresan Tilbe, 30, was arrested on Nov. 2 and charged with two counts of sexual assault, sexual interference (person under 16), and sexual exploitation, the York Regional Police said.
According to detectives with the York Regional Police Special Victims Unit, the alleged incidents occurred at a school in Newmarket.
On Sept. 21, police officials said the investigation into the school photographer was opened “after a female victim came forward to report a sexual assault” that allegedly occurred five days earlier “when the victim was getting her school picture taken.”
“During the investigation, a second victim from the same school came forward and reported a sexual assault by the same suspect,” officials said.
Police released the suspect’s photo and asked for any additional victims to come forward.
