Suspect Arrested In Connection With Fatal Shooting Of 82-Year-Old Man At Senior Living Facility
A suspect was taken into custody for the recent murder of an 82-year-old man at a Houston senior living facility, authorities said.
On Dec. 5, officials said Tyler Cameron Butler, 20, was arrested and charged with capital murder in connection with the fatal shooting of Henry Roberts on Oct. 8.
According to the Houston Police Department, officers responded to the senior living facility around 7 a.m. after receiving a report of the shooting. Roberts was found suffering a gunshot wound to his head, and paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
Police identified Butler as a suspect in the case, and he was taken into custody on Dec. 1.
Officials have not said how Butler was connected to the case, but the Houston Chronicle reported the victim was shot during a robbery.
Butler was being held at the Harris County jail.
