Police in Kentucky said three members of a family are dead and another is critically injured following multiple shootings across two counties.
Deputies in Pulaski County found a “male victim lying beside the road approximately 200 feet from his residence deceased from what appeared to be a gunshot wound,” according to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office.
While authorities have not publicly identified the victim in the May 3 incident, they have said the shooting was believed to be connected to “multiple shootings” that took place later that same night in neighboring Russell County.
Around 7 p.m., Pulaski County 911 dispatchers contacted Kentucky State Police and asked for help in finding a Ford F-150 driven by Angela Gosser, according to court documents obtained by the Lexington Herald-Leader.
Around 25 minutes later., Russell County dispatchers asked the state police to respond to a shooting in Jamestown at the home of Gosser’s brother.
Responding troopers found Gosser dead from a gunshot wound and her brother — identified as 58-year-old Darryl Wilson — critically wounded, officials said.
Wilson was transported to a nearby hospital. Police said their initial investigation revealed that Gosser allegedly forced her way into her brother’s home, and the pair exchanged gunfire.
While troopers were on the scene, they were then asked to conduct a welfare check on Gosser and Wilson’s sister, 57-year-old Jennifer Wilson after concerned family members reported they were unable to reach her.

Authorities headed to her house and found Jennifer Wilson shot dead in the driver’s seat of a Toyota Camry. Investigators believe Angela Gosser fired multiple rounds into the passenger window of the Camry as her sister was driving, strkiing her in the head.
