Shooter disguised in clown mask fatally shoots victim in head, Florida cops say
A Florida suspect dressed in a t-shirt and jeans and wearing a clown mask fatally shot a man, police said.
A group that included the masked shooter approached the victim, who police have not publicly identified, in Daytona Beach, Florida, around 12: 30 a.m. Nov. 8, an incident report states, according to WKMG-TV.
The masked person then drew a revolver and shot the victim in the head before aiming the firearm at a witness. The assailant then fled the scene after a person stepped between the pair and pleaded for the shooter to not fire.
The victim was pronounced dead at Halifax Health Medical Center.
Police arrested 28-year-old Noble Geathers and charged him with principal to first-degree murder. Law enforcement is searching for a second suspect in connection to the murder.
