Around 5 p.m. on July 8, police in Austin, Texas, responded to an apartment complex after a reported shooting.
The caller, Jacklyn Ensign, 30, told dispatchers that she had shot someone, according to police.
When police arrived, they found 52-year-old Allen Geisel dead at the scene from a gunshot. The shooting was the result of a domestic dispute, according to police. His manner of death was ruled a homicide.
