Nevada Man, 86, Accused of Fatally Shooting 79-Year-old Woman on Fourth of July
An elderly Nevada man was taken into custody after he allegedly murdered a woman on the Fourth of July, authorities said.
Police in Henderson responded to the report of a shooting around 5:45 p.m. on July 4, KSNV reported.
At the scene, officers found a 79-year-old woman shot, and she was rushed to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Jerome Seligman, 86, was taken into custody, and he’s being held at the Henderson Detention Center on an open murder charge, police said.

Authorities did not disclose the victim's name or the relationship between her and the suspect.
