Woman Fatally Shot Inside South Carolina Restaurant, Suspect Arrested

A suspect is under arrest after he allegedly shot a woman to death in a restaurant, police in South Carolina said.

Shortly before 11 p.m. on July 8, officers in Greenwood responding to reports of a shooting found 29-year-old Keyiona Watrice Hilldead suffering a gunshot wound inside Uptown Grill, WHNS reported.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators identified Christopher Longshore, 27, as a suspect in the deadly shooting and took him into custody on charges of murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Longshore was being held at the Greenwood County Detention Center. He will be held in jail without bond until he can go before a South Carolina circuit court judge.

Police have not released further information about the ongoing investigation of the incident.
