‘It’s Disturbing’: Texas Teenager Accused of Killing 17-Year-Old in Park

A teenager is dead and a second faces a murder charge in connection with a shooting in a Texas park.

On May 27, Taylor Hooker, 17, and Van Sui Uk, also 17, met up with each other at Central Park in Lewisville, KDFW reported.

According to police, several witnesses were at the scene when Hooker allegedly opened fire on Uk, killing the high school basketball and soccer player.

Investigators have not released the events surrounding the deadly incident.

"Very shocking for a murder to happen here. It’s disturbing and it’s sad. Because you do feel safe here,” area resident Desa Abbamondi told KDFW.
