Smiling Teen Arrested in Connection with Murder of Boy Following Annual High School Football Game

A 17-year-old boy was arrested in connection with the murder of a 14-year-old boy following a sporting event in Georgia, authorities said.
On Sept. 30, Emmanuel Dorsey was fatally shot after the annual Griffin-Spalding high school football game, according to the Spalding County Sheriff’s Office.
On Oct. 1, Kaomarion Kendrick was identified as a suspect and police issues an alert for him and obtained warrants for his arrest on charges of murder, aggravated assault, possession of a pistol by a person under 18, reckless conduct, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, authorities said.
On Oct. 7, officers tracked Kendrick to a Henry County neighborhood.
When officers located Kendrick sitting in a vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence, they said he fled. Police were able to stop him as he was exiting the subdivision.
Kendrick was taken into custody without incident, but police noted the suspect was armed with a Glock handgun with a full-auto switch attached.

In photos shot after his capture, Kendrick can be seen smiling as he's put into a patrol vehicle.
He was booked into the Spalding County Jail and was being held without bond.
