Softball Coach Allegedly Had Inappropriate Relationship With Underage Player, Authorities Say
A softball coach in Texas is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a young girl, authorities said.
Miranda Sandoval, 24, was arrested on Dec. 13 and charged with indecency with a child by contact, KABB reported.
According to the station, the underage girl’s parents went to the Converse Police Department the previous day to report the alleged inappropriate relationship between the softball coach and their daughter.
The age of the victim was not released. Police did not say if they suspect if there are more potential victims.
Sandoval was reportedly in charge of the Texas Bombers. The team is cooperating with the investigation, police said.
Sandoval’s bond was set at$65,000.
