Son shoots father in West Virginia over argument about sick dog, cops say

A man in West Virginia shot his dad to death over an argument over a sick dog, according to reports.
During the argument, Eric William Kinder, 24, allegedly shot his father, Eric Neal Kinder, 54, who was killed, according to WSAZ.
The shooting happened on July 14 in Boone County, West Virginia.
Police have not provided further details about the argument over the sick dog that led to the shooting.
The son left the home where the incident happened, went about half a mile down the road to another home and called 911 to surrender, WSAZ reported.
Kinder has been charged with murder, according to West Virginia court records.
He is being held in jail without bond as only a circuit court judge in West Virginia can set bond on a murder charge.
