Two South Carolina men who police say fatally shot a man on May 1 were arrested.
The Greenville County Sheriff's Office announced the arrested of Jarred Emille Clement, 30, and 20-year-old Shakim Jovon Johnson in connection to the death of William "Jordan" Fletcher.
Deputies with the Fugitive Apprehension Specialized Investigations Team arrested the two men last week at an apartment complex at 3434 Laurens Road in Greenville, police say.
Through an investigation, police found that Clement and Johnson were with Fletcher before his body was found in the roadway on Owens Road, near Old Pelzer Road, according to police. Detectives believe the two men conspired to kill Fletcher and that the shooting was premeditated.
However, police are still investigating to determine a motive. They did confirm the three men knew each other.
Clement is charged with murder, criminal conspiracy, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and felon in possession of a firearm. Johnson is charged with murder, criminal conspiracy and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
Both are inmates at the Greenville County Detention Center.
