She Got Into An Argument With Roommates. Then She Set The Apartment On Fire, Killing One, Police Say

A South Dakota woman had been arguing with others in their apartment. She then set the place on fire, killing one person, police say.
Gerri Lynn Jensen, 35 was arrested last week and charged with first-degree murder, attempted murder and arson, according to Dakota News Now. She is being held on a $2 million cash bond. Police arrested Jensen after she was released from the hospital for treatment of injuries she sustained in the fire.
According to Dakota News Now, Charice Admire was killed in the blaze, which took place on July 17. The 53-year-old was initially taken to the hospital, but she died from the burns she sustained in the fire the nex day.

Several others were able to get out of the building, some of whom had to jump from a window to get to safety, Dakota News Now reported.
Police say the fire was set in the hallway of the apartment building located in the 200 block of North Grange Avenue. Jensen, who was arrested without incident, was scheduled to be in court Nov. 4.
