Spanish woman had enough, cuts off boss's penis during alleged sexual assault

A waitress at a bar in Spain cut of her boss' penis after he tried to rape her, according to a report.

On May 31, the woman was arrested after she allegedly cut off his genitals while working a shift at a bar in Sant Andreu de la Barca, officials said.

After cutting off the penis, Newsweek reported the waitress called police and emergency services to the business.

The boss, who also owns the bar, was taken to a local hospital and an emergency surgery was done in an attempt to reattach his genitals, police said and Newsweek reported.

According to officials, the woman stated she acted in self-defense and said this attack was not the first time her boss tried to rape her. The waitress claimed her boss forced her to have sex with him on other occasions.

The bar owner remains in the hospital after receiving surgery for his injury, but there no word of whether the emergency surgery was successful, according to Newsweek

The waitress is being held at a police station in Martorell, Spain.
