Man stabbed two people in Virginia, leaving one dead, cops say

A man has been arrested after he allegedly killed another man and injured another person by stabbing them in a Virginia home.
The suspect, Melvin H. Wasike, 22, was arrested on Nov. 14 and charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, aggravated malicious wounding and breaking and entering while armed with intent to commit murder.
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office were called to a home in the 40800 block of Newton Place after 4:30 a.m. on Nov. 14 for a reported stabbing inside the home.
The victim has been identified as Michael Fadely, 46, according to Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
A second victim inside the home, whose name has not been released, was taken to a local hospital and was in stable condition, according to police.
Waskie is being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center with no bond.
Police have not said what the suspected motive was for the killing or if the suspect knew the victims.
