Suspect Charged With Murder After He Allegedly Stabbed His Father-In-Law To Death

A Texas man was taken into custody in connection with the fatal stabbing of his father-in-law.

Shortly after midnight on Oct. 11, officials said Anthony Chaffin of North Richland Hills got into a dispute with 41-year-old Jason Enos while the pair were in a parking lot outside the Bedford residence of Enos’ friend.

According to investigators, the fight about family issues escalated into violence when Chaffin allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed Enos multiple times.

Authorities did not detail what the family issues entailed.

Enos was rushed to Medical City Hospital in North Richland Hills and was later pronounced dead from his extensive injuries.

Chaffin was booked into the Tarrant County jail on a murder charge. He was being held in lieu of a $200,000 bond.
