‘Paranoid’ Florida Man Accused Of Attempted Murder After He Calls 911 To Report Someone Stabbed His Mother
A Florida man was arrested in connection with the attempted murder of his mother.
Shortly before 11 p.m. on March 10, Christopher Keith, 24, phone authorities to report someone had stabbed his mother at their home in Tallahassee, the Leon County Sheriff’s Office said.
The victim was rushed to an area hospital. While at the facility, she claimed her son was responsible for her critical injuries, the Tallahassee Democrat reported.
According to the outlet, a family member claimed the suspect had increasingly shown “signs of a mental disorder and paranoia,” an arrest report states.
The following day, on March 11, Keith was taken into custody and charged with his mother’s attempted murder, and he was being held without bond at the Leon County Detention Center.
Keith has denied he stabbed his mother, the Tallahassee Democrat reported.
