Suspect Arrested In Connection With Elderly Man Found Stabbed Dead In New York Cemetery
A New York man was arrested in connection with the discovery of a man found fatally stabbed in a cemetery, authorities said.
Frederick A. Wing, 22, was charged with second-degree murder in connection with the death of 72-year-old Ronald E. Durham, WPTZ reported.
New York State Police troopers located the body of the elderly victim in the cemetery in Gouverneur shortly after 8 a.m. on Feb. 11.
The St. Lawrence County Coroner’s Office determined Durham was murdered and his death was the result of a sharp-force injury to the neck, according to WWNY-TV.

Wing was booked without bail into the St. Lawrence County jail, officials said.
Authorities have not said how or if the two men knew each other.
The investigation continues.
