Fight in Kentucky ends with man stabbed to death, suspect charged with murder

A fight turned deadly with one man stabbed to deather and another person facing murder charges, police said.
Around 10 p.m. Oct. 9, Kentucky State Police were notified of an assault that occurred at a residence in Salem, Kentucky.
The investigation revealed that Joseph Harris, 52, and James Crider, 21, had been involved in an altercation at a residence on Butler Road, according to Kentucky State Police.
During the incident, police say Crider stabbed Harris, and he died from his injuries in the hospital.
Investigators have not said what led to the stabbing or how the two men knew each other.
Crider has been charged with murder, and he is being held at McCracken County Jail.
