Police apprehend two suspects in connection to fatal shooting after fight broke out at Texas restaurant
Two suspects are under arrest in connection to a murder at a Texas restaurant late last month, law enforcement officials said.
On Jan. 25, Lewisville police and U.S. Marshals took into custody Clint Dennis Charles, Jr., 23 and James Williams Dipple, 20, in Dallas without incident, according to KTVT.
Both were charged with murder and each held in the Lewisville jail on a $500,000 bond. Dipple was also being held on outstanding warrants for charges related to evading arrest and theft, the Dallas Morning News reported.
On Dec. 30, one assailant allegedly shot Viron Prescott Ellison multiple times after a fight broke out in the outdoor dining area of Chill Bar & Grill Lewisville.
According to police, witnesses reported seeing the two suspects flee the restaurant in a silver vehicle, which appeared to match the one Charles and Dipple were stopped in at the time of their arrest nearly a month later.
Officers allegedly recovered a handgun they believed to be the murder weapon in the vehicle.
