Two suspects arrested in Texas robbery turned murder, bonds set at more than $1 million

Two people have been arrested in connection with a robbery turned murder in Texas, police said.
Around 4:10 a.m., July 25, Corpus Christi police officers were dispatched to the 4500 block of Weber Road in reference to a shooting.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a victim, later identified as Conrad Garcia, 32. He had been shot and sustained life-threatening injuries, according to KRIS 6.
Garcia was transported to a local hospital, where he died, according to police.
After an investigation, police arrested Vanessa Salas, 25, and Jean Martinez, 25, in connection with the murder, authorities said. Investigators have not detailed what led to the shooting or if the suspects knew the victim.
Salas was arrested on a capital murder warrant, as well as an additional warrant for armed robbery. Her bond is set at $1,100,000.
Martinez was also arrested on a capital murder and aggravated robbery warrant. His bond is set at $1,100,000.
