Teacher Admits To Sharing Snapchat Photos, Sexual Misconduct With Her Former 14-Year-Old Middle School Student
A former teacher admitted she engaged in a sexual relationship with a male middle school student she taught while employed at his school in Ohio, authorities said.
Ana D'Ettorre, 25, pleaded guilty to one count each of sexual misconduct with a minor and sharing material harmful to juveniles, WKRC reported.
D’Ettorre, who taught at Liberty Junior School in Liberty Township, was originally charged with 12 criminal counts in the case, according to the station.
Authorities in Butler County accused D’Ettore of exchanging Snapchat photos with the 14-year-old student and then spending time with him after she stopped working at the school last spring.

According to the police report obtained by WKRC, the teen said he once snuck out of his house to meet D'Ettorre at night. He also claimed they had sex three times, the report states.
D’Ettorre, who reportedly was in a graduate program at the Christian college Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, faces up to two years behind bars when she is sentenced next month and must register as a sex offender.
“The long-term effects of having that sexualization are dramatic and destructive, and we know it,” Butler County prosecutor Mike Gmoser said, according to WKRC. “The science is there, and that's why it is prohibited, and that's why we punish by appropriate sentences those people who are engaged in that type of activity.”
