Three adults and two juveniles have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a 16-year-old Texas boy whose body was left in the street for 90 minutes before authorities were called, according to officials.
Around 1:30 a.m. on June 7, police said officers responded to a 911 call about a body that had been lying in the road with cars driving around it and people taking photos and videos.
The victim’s identity has not been released because he was a minor.
At the scene, investigators found the boy dead from a gunshot wound to the chest, according to KLTV. Police started canvassing the neighborhood for witnesses.
Officials announced this week the arrest of two juveniles. Each was charged with engaging in organized criminal activity for robbery.
Three adults — Tyra Valentine, 24; Diamond Roach, 32; and Alexander Morrison, 50 — were also arrested and charged with failure to report human remains, KLTV reported.
