18-year-old woman accused of killing her boyfriend in North Carolina

An 18-year-old woman was arrested in connection with a homicide in North Carolina where officials say she shot her boyfriend.
Alexus Buckner, 18, faces a charge of first-degree murder for the crime, according to ABC 13 News.
Around midnight July 26, Joshua Silvers, 27, was found shot to death on Davis Drive.
Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Aaron Sarver told ABC 13 News the suspect and victim were in a romantic relationship.
Buckner was taken into custody in the evening of July 26 and is not eligible for bond, officials say, according to ABC 13 News.
Buncombe County authorities say there are additional persons of interest in the case, but they’re still investigating.
"Detectives are out there working hard and we’re not quite at the point where we want to release information on them," Sarver told ABC 13 News.
