Arkansas Teenager Held Without Bond After He Allegedly Stabbed His Father To Death, Authorities Say
A teenager in Arkansas was being held without bond after he was accused of fatally stabbing his father, according to authorities.
Shortly after 9 p.m. on Nov. 21, officers with the North Little Rock Police Department responded to a residence and found Lenarr Kinchen, 46, dead from at least one apparent stab wound, KARK-TV reported.
After opening an investigation into the deadly incident, detectives identified the victim’s son, Berach Kinchen, 17, as the main suspect.
Kinchen was placed under arrest and he was expected to be charged as an adult with his father’s second-degree murder, police said.
Kinchen was being held at the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility.
The investigation into the stabbing is ongoing. A motive has not been released in the case.
