Two teens in Tennessee face murder charges for the fatal shooting of a gas station employee, police said.
On Nov. 29, the Metro Nashville police announced the arrests of 15-year-olds Shawn Davis and Demarcus Boyd. They were both charged with murder in juvenile court.
The two are accused of shooting Vishal Patel, 36, on Nov. 28 at a Kwik Sak in Nashville.
Investigators said the two went into the gas station around 5 p.m. and had a brief interaction with Patel. Davis then pulled out a handgun and shot the victim.
Police also said the duo were also charged in connection to a Nov. 27 robbery of a 7-Eleven gas station in the area. In that incident, police said the suspects took the cash from the register at gunpoint and fled.
The duo was arrested hours after the killing when a car they allegedly stole was found at an Arby’s, police said.
