Victim Slapped A Woman Before Being Shot Dead, Police Said. Teen Now Accused Of Murder
A Pennsylvania teenager was fatally shot and another was in custody accused of the man’s murder, authorities said.
Around 1:35 p.m. on June 19, police in Braddock responded to reports of a shooting at a home and found Marvin Dewit Matthews Jr., 19, dead inside, WPXI reported.
Officers identified and arrested a second teenager, 19-year-old William Shelton, in connection to Matthews’ murder, according to the station.
Shelton was charged with criminal homicide and booked into the Allegheny County Jail.
A witness said that she got into an argument with Matthews and he slapped her, according to CBS News. She went into a bedroom and Matthews followed.
That is when Shelton showed up and fired at least three times, according to CBS News.
