Two teenagers accused of murdering son of reality television star in North Carolina, police say

Two teenagers in North Carolina are in custody almost a week after a shooting that claimed the life of a man and seriously injured a woman, authorities said.

According to the Johnston County Sheriff's Office, a 17-year-old suspect from Willow Springs and a 16-year-old from Garner were arrested in connection to the deadly incident.

On the evening of Feb. 17, the suspects got into an altercation with Harley Alexander Shirley, 21, on a road in Garner, the sheriff’s office said.

The pair are accused of then fatally shooting the male victim, who is the son of Lizard Lick Towing reality star Ronnie Shirley, and injuring a woman at a Sheetz convenience store around three miles away.

Both juveniles are charged with Shirley's murder as well as the attempted murder of the female.
