2 teenagers accused of fatally shooting man at Texas bar after their mother calls them for help
Two teenagers in Texas allegedly went to a bar to resolve a fight for their mother, and all three now face murder charges, police said.
On Dec. 6, Bryan Gonzalez, 18, and his 15-year-old brother drove to El Cubilete Sports Bar in San Antonio just before 2 a.m. after receiving a call from their mother, 33-year-old Flor Salazar, KABB reported.
According to an arrest report obtained by WOAI-TV, the mother was in an argument with 37-year-old Enrique Santiago Gasca-Sanchez. Flor’s sons arrived at the bar and surveillance video allegedly shows the two spoke with her, went out of range of the camera, and then returned, both with guns behind their backs.
Gonzalez and his younger brother exchanged words with Gasca-Sanchez and then allegedly shot him multiple times before they drove away from the scene. Gasca-Sanchez reportedly passed away from his injuries on the way to an area hospital.
The teenagers’ mother, Salazar, allegedly later told police the victim had threatened her because he and her eldest son, Gonzalez, had issues in the past.
The mother and sons were all taken into custody and all three now face murder charges, according to KABB.
