An Army veteran was found murdered in Tennessee and now police say they arrested his suspected killer months later.
On Nov. 12, 2021, The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation joined local police in investigating the death of Robert Vallery, 53.
The U.S. Army vet was found dead in his home in Union City, Tennessee, earlier that same day, according to the bureau. Investigators have not said how Vallery died.
Detectives identified Cameron A. Taylor, 28, as a suspect in the killing.
This week, police charged Taylor in connection to the case. He was being held in the Obion County Jail on unrelated charges. Investigators have not released a motive, but Taylor faces burglary-related charges.
Taylor’s other charges include first-degree murder, especially aggravated burglary and possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony. He is being held in jail without bond.
