A mom in Tennessee turned her son in on a murder charge after she spotted him on surveillance video released by police.
On June 11, Memphis police said they were called to the Deluxe Inn, where they found Monica Boone dead in one of the rooms.
According to authorities, Boone suffered from an apparent gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said surveillance video recovered during the investigation showed the gunman and the vehicle the gunman was driving at the time of Boone’s murder.

Derrick was arrested and has been charged with first-degree murder, authorities said.
