Police Find Two People Shot In An Apartment, But Now Say One Of Them Is A Killer

A Missouri man faces murder charges in connection to the shooting death of a woman at a Tennessee apartment.

On June 30, police in Trenton, Tennessee, responded to a reported shooting. When they arrived, they went into an apartment and found two people shot.

One of the victims was Hannah Gierer, 43. She was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. The other victim was identified as Ricardo Vasquez Munoz, 32, police said. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Earlier this month, a grand jury indicted Vasquez Munoz for first-degree murder in connection to Gierer’s death.

But authorities have not detailed what led them to charge Vasquez Munoz. They also have not released a motive in the case.

Vasquez Munoz is being held without bond in a Tennessee jail.
