Woman Nearly Ran Car Off The Interstate, Then Opened Fire On Victim, Police Say

A woman opened fire on another car during a road rage incident and now faces criminal charges, police said.
This week, police in Memphis, Tennessee, said they arrested Yvonne Varnado, 33, in the alleged road rage incident. She was charged with attempted first-degree murder and released after posting $90,000 bond.
Around 8 a.m. on Aug. 3, police were told about an assault on I-240.
The victim said they were almost run off the road and into a wall by a woman driving a Kia Soul, according to police.
The victim got a photo of the car as it passed.
As the victim passed a nearby road, he saw the woman with a handgun, police said. When the victim exited the interstate, he heard his windows shatter.
The victim then found a bullet in the car, police noted.
There was no word on what led to the alleged road rage dispute.
