An altercation between strangers turned deadly, and now police in Texas said they arrested the suspect killer.
This week, police in Austin, Texas, announced the arrest of Carlos Narvaez, 17. He was charged with first-degree murder in connection to the killing of Sheldon Polk.
Around 2 a.m. on Dec. 7, police responded to a shooting on East 6th Street.
When officers arrived, they found Polk unresponsive on the ground, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said that Polk was in an altercation with a man he did not know, Narvaez. At one point, the suspect pulled out a gun and shot the victim.
